All about robots – surgery robots, helper bots, etc.

A Robot from Malaga, Spain is talented in music. The robot is capable of identifying songs that you hum, whistle or play with a guitar or piano. The robot then classifies the tune to a musical style and suggests similar songs in that category. Other than that, the robot tells you whether the singer is male or female.

This robot is being created from University of Malaga for Lego Mindstorms NXT and might be commercially available when its done.

How about a symphony orchestra all played by Robots? That would take a while but I think that would be possible in a decade or two.

I have always been fascinated on robots and when I was in Singapore last 2009 I was looking for robot shops but couldn’t find one. In any case, my next stop is going to be Japan looking forward to go to the Vstone Robot Center probably later this year.
